Rick Compton and Betsy Bennett are authors Compton & Bennett. They have been writing and performing original shows since 1995. During their first 15 years, they plowed the fertile field of political and social satire around Naples, Florida.

Since 2010, Compton & Bennett have published two stage musicals which have been performed by dozens of community and professional theatre troupes across the United States.

Compton & Bennett themselves tour their shows Assisted Living: The Musical and THE HOME...for the Holidays. They play in theatres and performing arts centers nationally.
