Intro to Acrylics – Ladd (LAD022123)

Judy will begin with the basics: color mixing, pigment, learning about different brushes, and how to begin drawing an image for a painting. Your first work will be a colorful parrot, which the class will all work on. She will walk you through the painting process for the parrot and will then address different ways of working the background to make your painting individual. This first painting will likely take 2 classes to complete—after which you are free to choose your own images to paint. Judy will provide images, or you may bring your own. She will work with each student individually to create their next paintings using all the basic components learned in the first 2 classes.
